To assist with your transition into university life be sure to check out the 'Online Library Workshops' and the ‘Semester Two; StudyUp Programme’. ‘StudyUp’ is an online series designed to help enhance writing and study skills. Boost your time management, strategic reading and assignment writing skills. Learn more about critical reasoning and expand your analytical abilities.

International student registration and enrolment session

This is a compulsory information session for international students only.

Our Massey guides will be in the Pyramid to answer any questions. Have a chat with them about what to expect during your first weeks at uni and how to get involved.

University welcome lunch and student services expo

A welcome lunch for all new students. Use this as an opportunity to connect with other new international and domestic students.
During lunch you can find out about the student services, support and other opportunities that Massey offers to help you succeed in student life!

Library tours and wi-fi set up

Drop-in at any time between 1.00pm and 3.00pm for a guided library tour or stop in and set up your devices to our Massey network. Make sure you bring your student ID.

Campus tour

Join your Massey Guides on a tour around campus and gain a general overview of the campus layout, learn more about our facilities and services and take note of where your classes might be the following week.

Discover your potential, your unique abilities and what makes you you with our Strengths@Massey programme. Attend this introduction session to find out more about the four week programme for undergraduate students.

New to Wellington? Come on a guided bus tour around the city to see some of the main attractions in the coolest little capital. Packed lunch provided. Please RSVP HERE to secure a seat on the bus!

Creative Media Production (CMP) programme introduction

At this session:

  • Introduction to the CMP programme: all the things you need to know about the programme for the next 3 years.
  • CMP Timetable and Tech Store: finalising your timetable and finding out how to access our Tech Store to book out kit (eg cameras, microphones, tablets).
    Note: Make sure you bring your student ID number and password with you.
  • Tour of the CMP facilities.

Te Rau Tauawhi – Māori Student Centre

Nau mai haere mai ki ngā tauira hou, welcome to our new students. Please come in and meet Awhi, our Māori Student Support Coordinator on the Wellington Campus. We’ll have kai available and can kōrero about all of your study needs.

Each venue on the Wellington campus is given a unique room number. For example, the location of room 5D14 is:

  • Block 5 (building number)
  • floor level D, and
  • room number 14.
