We became a member of the Northern Auckland Kindergarten Association in 2016. Being part of a larger community-based organisation has provided extra support and security. The Associations philosophy compliments the values important to our team and families.

We are completely committed to promoting and providing a healthy lifestyle for the children in our care and are very lucky to be able to work closely with the Massey University Department of Food, Nutrition and Human Health. Mission statement and programme philosophy

Mission statement

We provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment holistically extending children's individual interests and learning.

Children, parents/whanau and teachers are empowered through positive communication and support, thus building reciprocal relationships affirming our community of learners.

Programme philosophy

Our Centre approaches programme planning with a view to enhance the learning paths of individual children. We use a variety of assessment tools such as IT, written assessments and verbal observations from children, parents/whanau and teachers to plan for further learning based on children's interests and capabilities. The plan is designed to allow for flexibility and spontaneity from both children and teachers. We use the experiences of teachers, children, parent/whanau and the community to extend and enhance children's learning journeys.

Opening Hours

The Centre is open Mondays to Fridays from 7.45am – 5:15pm (closed Public Holidays).

We have three session options:

  • Full Days: 7:45am – 5:15pm (including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea)
  • Mornings: 7:45am – 12:45pm (including morning tea and lunch)
