    Naseem is Associate Professor and Postgraduate Director at Massey University and Adjunct Professor at University of Science Malaysia.

    He is a multidisciplinary construction professional with over 30 years industry and academic experience. He is Past President of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia, Vice-Chair of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors Auckland Branch, and Councillor of the New Zealand Society of Construction Law.

    Naseem wrote the world's first construction contract (STCC-RSP 2015) to attain the Plain Language Commission UK’s Clear English Standard accreditation.

    He promotes plain legal language, especially when teaching on the Master of Construction (Construction Law) programme.

    Mostafa is a Civil Engineer and researcher with multidisciplinary interests in construction engineering and management. His main research focus crosses over construction innovation, new technologies, productivity, off-site construction, Decision Support Systems (DSS), integrated design and procurement. He is an expert in data analysis, operations research; mathematical and statistical modelling in combination with qualitative research methods. His publications appear in many well respected world class journals. Mostafa is also member of PMI, PrefabNZ, CIB and Engineering NZ. He has been on editorial and review duties for different international journals and served on the scientific committee of various international and local conferences.

    Through his work with the “Let’s Get Inventing” TV show he was further able to inspire, advise and assist young inventers to create and patent their dreams.

     

    Chris has vast professional experience in the robotics and patient simulation, and is presently researching the unintended effects of modern lighting on humans and other biological lifeforms.

She has a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and 20 years of experience in industrial robotics and automation. Her research interests in the Built Environment include life cycle assessment, sustainability, building energy, fire safety, acoustics and indoor air quality.

    Susan has over 20 years’ experience in illumination engineering and presently leads the IESANZ-accredited lighting progrmme.  She also manages the university’s photometric laboratory, which is used for teaching and research as well as commercial product development.  Susan has a strong industry focus, having worked previously as a senior electrical engineer for an international consultancy group.  Susan is the current Education Chair for the New Zealand Chapter Committee of the IESANZ, and also oversees the Status & Qualifications portfolio.

    Professor Phipps is the Director of Research, Built Environment  at Massey University.

    Robyn has expertise in the design and management of healthy buildings, indoor air quality,affordable housing, heating and ventilation.  Her research is focused on validating effective and practical means to improve indoor environments in homes, school and workplaces and construction health and safety.  Energy efficient, sustainable building, accessible housing and professional practice are other research themes.

    Dr (Andries) Hennie van Heerden [BSc Construction Management, BSc Hons Technology Management, MSc Technology Management (UP)] was involved as a site agent and project manager for different residential and commercial projects from 2003 to 2011. At the end of 2011, he joined SABMiller, and in 2012, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Construction Economics at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He obtained his PhD in Construction Management in 2018.  His research interest is human resources skills in the construction environment.

    Kenneth is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. He has been actively conducting research in construction dispute resolution, construction contracting and health & safety. He was the awardee of the ASCE Best Paper Forum or Synopsis Paper Award for the Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution in Engineering and Construction. He served as the Guest Editor for three special issues in this journal. Currently, he serves the Editorial Advisory Panel of an International Journal: Management, Procurement and Law. As of today, Kenneth has produced more than 100 research outputs, including international refereed journal articles, research monograph, book chapters and conference papers.
