A Black Sheep
Aotearoa history is full of many colourful and notorious men and women- some of whom are well known, and others not. The lives and misdeeds of these men and women make up the stories recounted in the Radio New Zealand podcast series produced by William Ray, Black Sheep. These Black Sheep portraits are informed by Ray’s interviews with historians, archival research, and research into editorial portraiture. In addition to featuring the historical figure, they feature the misdeed core to their story.

International Society of Typographic Designers Brief
This ISTD brief responds to the word Lost. This could be personal, scientific, temporary or permanent and the approach could be serious or light-hearted. It could have a singular narrative or it could be fun, eclectic and informative. There are lost worlds, heritage, tribes, people, species, technologies, crafts, knowledge, skills, words, languages, and buildings. The choices are endless as life is in a continuous state of flux of being and of being replaced.
